A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN PALM BEACH COUNTY AND
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH TO ALLOW FOR A
TIME EXTENSION FOR THE SARA SIMS PARK
IMPROVEMENTS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, on or about December 1, 1992, the City and Palm
Beach County entered into an Agreement to provide $381,000 of
Community Development Block Grant funds for the construction
of Phase II of comprehensive street improvement and certain
improvements in Sara Sims Park; and
WHEREAS, the parties hereto wish to extend the project
completion date;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor and
City Clerk to execute an Amendment to the Agreement between
the City of Boynton Beach and Palm Beach County to provide for
a time extension for the Sara Sims Park improvements, said
Agreement being attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
Section 2. This Resolution

AMENDMENT 001 TO THE AGREEMENT

Amendment 001 entered into this day of
