A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
RATIFYING THE 1993/94 AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND
INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF FIREMEN AND
OILERS, (I.B.F.&O.); AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT, ATTACHED HERETO
AS EXHIBIT "A"; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach
deems it to be in the best interests of the citizens and residents
of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, to enter into an Agreement
with the International Brotherhood of Firemen And Oilers (I.B.F.&
0.);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida hereby ratifies the 1993/94 Agreement between the
City of Boynton Beach and the International Brotherhood of Firemen
and Oilers, (I.B.F.& O.), and authorizes and directs the Mayor and
City Clerk to execute said Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit
Section 2.
upon passage.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately

WAGES
Section 1. Ail employees
4% (four percent) cost of
September 30, 1993.
Section 2. Effective October 1,
in the Bargaining Unit will receive a
living salary adjustment effective
1993, all employees covered by
this contract shall remain frozen at their grade and step level as
of October 1, 1991, subject only to the COLA adjustment that the
City provided in Section 1 above, or any promotional increases, and
shall not receive a 5% step plan (merit pay) increase for fiscal
year 1993/94.
