A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT
BY CITY MANAGER J. SCOTT MILLER, OF JAMES
D. WHITE, CITY ENGINEER FOR THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA AT GRADE 39, STEP
4 OF THE PAY PLAN; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists for the position of City
Engineer for the City of Boynton Beach; and
WHEREAS, according to the Charter of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida all officers of the City shall be appointed by the
City Manager, subject to the confirmation by the City Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, has recommended that James D. White be appointed as City
Engineer for the City of Boynton Beach, at Grade 39, Step 4 of the
pay plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida hereby approves and confirms the appointment of
James D. White, as City Engineer for the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, at Grade 39, Step 4 of the pay plan.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
