1 RESOLUTION R14 -047 2 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE 4 , CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING 5 AND ADOPTING THE 2013 -2014 CITY OF BOYNTON 6 ; { BEACH STRATEGIC PLAN, IN ITS ENTIRETY; AND 7 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 8 9 WHEREAS, the City Commission approved the adoption of the Strategic Plan 101 Focused Work Program via Resolution R13 -133, in order to provide clear direction to staff 11 on the project and funding priorities of the City Commission; and 121 WHEREAS, the final Strategic Plan now needs to be adopted as the guiding 13■ document for the City and so that staff can move forward in determining the Action Agenda 14 for the FY2014 -2015. 15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF 16 ; THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: 17 Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as 18 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption. 19 Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida does hereby 20 approve and adopt the 2013 -2014 City of Boynton Beach Strategic Plan in its entirety, a copy o 21 which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A ". 22 Section 3.
