3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
4 CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING
5 RATE INCREASES FOR CART AND GREEN FEES,
6 ANNUAL PERMITS, LINKS CLUB CARDS AND FEES FOR
7 OTHER OPTIONAL SERVICES AT THE LINKS AT
8 BOYNTON BEACH GOLF COURSE; AND PROVIDING AN
9 EFFECTIVE DATE.

11 WHEREAS, in order to provide the public with an attractive and well - maintained
12 golf course and to ensure its long term viability, the Golf Course Manager is requesting
13 across the board rate increases at The Links at Boynton Beach Municipal Golf Course; and
14 WHEREAS, there are many short and long term projects which are identified in The
15 Links' 5 -Year Strategic Plan that will require additional funding; and
16 WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach upon the
17 recommendation of staff, deems it to be in the best interest of the citizens and residents of the
18 City of Boynton Beach to approve the rate increases for Cart and Green Fees, Annual
19 Permits, Links Club Cards and fees for other optional services at The Links at Boynton Beach
20 Golf Course.
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
22 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
23 Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
24 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption.
25 Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida does hereby
26 approve rate increases for Cart and Green Fees, Annual Permits, Links Club Cards and fees for
27 other optional services at The Links at Boynton Beach Golf Course, a copy of which is attached
28 hereto as Exhibit "A ".

1 Section 3. This Resolution will become effective immediately upon passage.
