2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
3 FLORIDA, APPROVING THE FEE SCHEDULE FOR
4 CERTIFICATE OF USE AND OCCUPANCY, AND
5 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE

7 WHEREAS, the City Commission approved, via Ordinance 14 -018, amending the
8 City's Code of Ordinances, Chapter 13. "Licenses ", renaming the application review to
9 "Business Use Certificate" and clarifying the inspection process and providing for fees
10 , associated with "Certificate of Use and Occupancy "; and
11 I WHEREAS, the fee scheduled attached to this Resolution sets the fees for that
12 process; and
13 WHEREAS, the City Commission for the City of Boynton Beach approves the
14 proposed fee schedule for Certificate of Use and Occupancy and finds is necessary and is in
15 ' the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens or residents of Boynton
16 ' Beach.
17 ; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
18 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
19 Section 1. The above referenced whereas clauses are incorporated herein by
20 ( reference.
21 Section 2. The Certificate of Use and Occupancy Fee schedule attached hereto as
22 Exhibit "A ", incorporated herein by reference, is hereby adopted as the fee schedule for those
23 related activities as indicated on the Fee Schedule. A copy of the Fee Schedule shall be
24 maintained and made available for public inspection in the City Clerk's office as well as the
25 Development Department.

1 Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage
211 and adoption.
