AMENDING SECTION 154 OP T~IE CODIFIED CHARTER OF SAID
CITY RE~TING TO PRIMARY ELECTIONS }ND ESTABLISHMENT
OF FILING FEES FOR CANDIDATES% PROVIDING FOR AUTHORITY
TO CODIF¥~ SAVINGS CLAUSE~ REPEALING PROVISION: AN
EFFECTIVE DATE AND FOR OTHER PI1RPOSES.
BB IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH- FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Section 154 of the Codified Charter of the
City of Boyn~on Beach, FLorida~ being otherwise described as
Section 15G~ lhap~er 245987 Special Acts of ~lorida 1947, be and
the same is hereby amended to read:
~?Section 154. Primary eleetions~ ~uthority ~o provide;
filing fee.
The City Council may provide by ordinance for the holding
of the necessary primary elections for the nommnation of candi-
dates to be elected at ~ne general election, ~nd provide for a
filing fee for ~1t candidates qualifying to have their names
placed on the primary election ballot?

effective in the manner and at the time provided by law.
