Section 1: That Ordinance No. 67-25, Ordinance No. 68--2~
and Ordinance No. 68-26, of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
establishing building and mechanical, electrical ~nd ~lUmbing
permit fees, be and the same are hereby amended by the adoption
of ~pdated permit fees as set forth in schedules attached here-
to and hereby, ma~e a part hereof.
Section 2: Authority to Codify: Specific authority is
hereby granted to codify and mncorporate this Ordinance in the
City's exis~in~ Code.

A reJ~pection fee of $5.00 ~ay be cP~rged for each reinspec~ion made, due
%o the rejection of work, or due to the fact that work was not ready at
the time specified in the reques~ for inspection, or f~]ure to call for'
inspec~ion. Paya~nt of such fee must ~ made prior to the rei~ ~pection.
ELECTRICAL PERMITS
Section 80.6 -- ~'~
80.6 (a) - General
A Penmit shall not be v~l~d unfi~ the fees perscribed in this Section
shall have been paid; nor sba11 an amendnent to a permit ~e approved until
the additional fees, if any, shall have ~een paid. ·
80.6 go) - Fsilure to Obtain a Penuit
If a~y person conn~nces any ~ork on an installation before obtaining bhe
necessary.pezmit from the Electrical /nspector, the pemmit fee-'~ha!l be
doubled. - '
80.6 (c) - ~chedule of ~enmit Fees
(1) General. No pen~t shall be iss6ed until the fee perscribed-under
this Section shall have been paid. Nor3shall an amendment to a permit
be approved until the additional fee, ~f any, due to the additional
work, shs]] have ~ paid. No refund of pezmit fees will be allc~ed
after thirty (30) days frc~ date ~f issuance of the permit.
(2) Records. The Official shall keep a ~ent and accurate account of
all permit fees-and other monies collected, the names of all persons
.... upon whose account' the same was paid, and the date and sn~unt thereof.
(3) Schedule of Permit Fees. On all electrical work .real, ring a pezmit
as set forth in 80.5, fees shall be pa~d es re?tired at the time of
fi~ing application in accordance with the following schedule:
60-100 $ 20.00
101-200 - 50.00
201-~0 - 90.00
401-600 - 150.00
Exception: Single service for single connection - $20.00.

'Residential - ~imum electric permit for residential will be
$5.00 per tenancy. -
For eve~ outlet 6v~r %eh (10); an additional fee ~f'$.50 per
outlet shall 1~ cP~Irged i~ addition-to the minimum permit.
Con~ercial - MJ_n~ electric permit .for c~raT~_rcial will be
$2D. 00 per tenancy.
.For every outer ove~ ten (10); an additional fee of $1.00 per
outlet shall ~e charged in addition to the ntinim~n permit.

106.3 - SCHEDULE C~ PERMIT

A rmipirmmn of five ($5.00) dollars for ~ny one permit issued.
The sum of two ($2.00) dollars f~r each and every fixture
roughed ~, either in new or reconstructed or addif~onal
plumbing vx~rk.
(c) Two ($2.00) dollars for each and every sewer connection
either in new or recor~tructed or additional plu~g work.
~ ($2.00) dollars for each and every grease trap installed
either in new or reconstructed or additional plumbing work.
(e) The stwa of five ($5:00) dollars for each repiplng installa-
tion up to two (2) fixtures and two ($2.00) dollars' for each
additional fixture.
(f) The sum of tvo ($2.00) dollars for each and every water
connection to or outlets for an appliance or installation
not covered by fixture permit.
(g) ~Ine sum of five ($5.00) doll's for each and every supply
or drainage welll up to and including two (2") inches in
diameter and eight ($8200) dollars for ea~ supply or drain-
age well over two (2") inches in diameter.
(h) The sum of fifteen ($15.00) dollsrs ~ for each and
every solar w~ter heater complete, incl~3_ng heating unit
~nd storage tank, up to one thousand ($1,000) dollars in
valuation. In excess of one t~hous~nd ($1,000) dollars in
valuation, refer to Section 107.4 of the Standard
Code. P~placsment of heating uD_~t five ($5.00) dotlars,
replacement of 'storage tank five ($5.00) dollars.
(i) The sum of five ($5.00) dollars may be charged fo~ each re-
inmpec=~ion fade due to condemnat/on of worn, or due to the
fact that ~D~k ~s not rely at ~he ~ specified in the
~app//cation for inspect/on, or for failure to call for f/hal
or o~her inspection.
(j) ~e sum of two ($2.00) dollars for each roof drain.
(~) The sum of five ($5.00) dollars for each gas piping system of
two (2) outlets and ~wo ($2.00) dollars for each
outlet.

The sever'connection fees sha]] be as are from time to time
prescribed by the governing agency.
Building sewers and water service pipes shall connect to the
public sewer and water main at a point 'designated by the pro-
per authority.
A fee, double the regular fee shall be charged for every job
started without a permit.
Upon written request to the P1k~bing Inspector,- any industrial
plant shall be issued an ~nual ~-a~t for plumbing work, in-
stallation, n~intenence and equipment rearrang~_nt oovering
sewers, fixtures, and piping in or on the premises owned or
occupied by the holder as described in the permit, but to be
issued subject to %he following conditions:
(1) The pa~raent of an ~nual fee of one hundred ($100.00)
dollars for each calendar year, and permit fees
puted n~nthly according to the fee schedule akove.
(2) The regular emp%oyn~_nt of one or more full-time
plumt~rs c~ ~petent in the safe nstalla~on, exten-
sion, m~J-ntenance and repair of industrial plumbing
systems and equipment.
-(3) The unrestricted right of the Plumbing Inspector to
~heek the premises ~f the permit holder at a reason-
able time, unless prohibited by gov~t regula-.

(4) The perfo~nce of all work shall conloly with the :

fees therefor.

sprirf~ler system.
The sum of five ($5.00) dollars per thousand for every steam
boiler, hot water boiler, or a~r cc~pressor.
The s~m of three ($3.00) dollars per thousand for a~l process
piping not oovered by other fixture permits.
