A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A PROJECT AGREEMENT
AMENDMENT BETWEEN THE CiTY OF BOYNTON
BEACH AND THE FLORIDA INLAND NAVIGATION
DISTRICT (F.I.N.D.); SAID AGREEMENT BEING
ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach, Florida (CITY) has
requested a time completion extension to its Waterways
Assistance Project; and
WHEREAS, The Florida Inland Navigation District has
advised that they do not anticipate that the extension of
funding for waterways assistance Projects will change during
their budgetary process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor and City Clerk
to execute a Project Agreement Amendment between the City of
Boynton Beach and the Florida Inland Navigation District,
attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon passage.

PROJECT AGREEMENT AMENDMENT
In consideration of the continuing mutual promises and covenants contained in
that certain PROJECT AGREEMENT No. PB-BB-92-24 between the FLORIDA
INLAND NAVIGATION DISTRICT (F.I.N.D.) and the CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH hereafter known as the PROJECT SPONSOR. The parties hereby agree that
Paragraph 2 of that certain PROJECT AGREEMENT be deleted and the following
be substituted therefore:
2. The PROJECT SPONSOR shall complete the PROJECT on or
before September 1, 1994. This deadline may be extended with due
reason and prior approval of the F.I.N.D. The PROJECT SPONSOR
acknowledges there are no expressed provisions to carry over
F.I.N.D. GRANT FUNDS provided under this project Agreement
Amendment beyond September 30, 1994.
