A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE BOYNTON BEACH HISTORICAL
SOCIETY TO SOLICIT DONATIONS FOR THE
RESTORATION OF THE BOYNTON BEACH HISTORIC
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Boynton

WHEREAS, the Boynton Beach Historical Society wishes to
restore the buiiding into a Historical Museum and Childrens.
Museum; and
WHEREAS, the Boynton Beach Historical Society is
interested in raising funds to assist with the restoration
effort and to assist in providing funds for operating
expenses, specifically staff salaries; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bo nton Be
supports the restoration of ~ ~ ..... Y ach

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY 0F'BOyNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, FTorida hereby authorizes the Boynton Beach Historical
Society. te solicit funds on behalf of the Restoration and
Reuse of' the 1913 Historic Boynton Beach Elementary School.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall become
effective immediately upon passage.
