Michael, Councilman Tereesa Padgett, City Clerk This meeting wa~ called to order by Mayor Gallo at 7:50 P.M. who indi- cated this meeting was called for the purpose of accommodating second read/~g~or anney~tion of Olive~ Land Corporation because of contract requirements making it necessary before the end of the year. DISCUSS B~NK LOAN Reference to Bank Loan to take care of storm drainage, City Attorney advised that everything had been taken care of and the only thing maining is the execution of the revenue certificate. City ~¢~nager will co~tact bank and finalize papers which tie up $22~857.14 per year~ plus interest on unpaid balance, for seven years of the c/qarette tax money rather than encumber the entire funds. ORDINANCE 69-42 (2nd Reading - Annexing the Oliver Land Corporation paree:l. City Attorney Gene Moore advised that in view of the mixup on legal description which was omit-ted in the advertising he recommended starting a new procedure on the enti~e tract, and that advertising include the per/meter description. He then read O~dinance 69-45 an ordinance for intent to annex unincorporated tract of land. M~. Summers moved Ordin- ance 69-45 be accepted on first reading; seconded by Mr. Collins and motion carried 4-0. Ordinance No. 69-43 (2nd Reading) - Sign Re~qulations City Attorney mead by caption only Ordinance No. 69-43 regulating signs. Mr. Nylund moved that Ordinance 69-43 be accepted. Mr. Harry LeFort, 725 Ocean Inlet D~ive~ objected to the passing of ordinance in view of fact he felt therea~e no teeth in it~ he felt Mr. Collins did not live up'to old ordinance. this ~. Summers seconded the motion which passed 4-0. Ordinance No. 69-4~ (2nd Reading) - rezoning Caldos Parcel from R-1AA to R-3A. City Attorney read Ordinance No. 69-44. -1 - MINUTES SPECIAL ~ETING CITY COUNCIL DECEMBER 30, 1969 Mr. Nylund moved the above ordinance pass on second reading. seconded by ~.
