2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
3 FLORIDA, APPROVING CHANGES TO THE SPECIAL
4 EVENT SCHEDULE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
5 DATE

7 WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the Special Events Code, Special Events
8 Handbook and Special Events Fee Schedule; and
9 WHEREAS, the revisions to the fee scheduled attached to this Resolution represents
10 fair and reasonable fees in comparison to other nearby municipalities; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Commission for the City of Boynton Beach approves the
12 proposed changes to the City's Special Event Fee Schedule and finds it in the best interest of
13 the health, safety and welfare of the citizens or residents of Boynton Beach.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
15 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
16 Section 1. The above referenced whereas clauses are incorporated herein by
17 reference.
18 Section 2. The Special Events Fee Schedule attached hereto as Exhibit "A ",
19 incorporated herein by reference, is hereby adopted as the fee schedule for those related
20 activities as indicated on the Fee Schedule. A copy of the Fee Schedule shall be maintained
21 and made available for public inspection in the City Clerk's office.

23 Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage
24 and adoption.
