AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BoYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA.
AMENDING SECTION 4 lB) OF APPENDIX A, ZONING REGI/LA-
TIONS. OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO ES-
TABLISH BUILDING AND SITE REGULATIONS APPLICABLE TO
ACCESSORY BUILDINGS IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS: PRO-
VIDING FI/RTt:IER FOR AUTtIORITY TO CODIFY, SAVINGS
CLAUSE, REPEALING PROVISION, AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH.
FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Section 4 (B) of Appendix A, Zoning Regulations, of the Codi-
fied Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"Section 4. General Provisions.
(B) Accessory Buildings. Accessory buildings in residential districts
shall be constructed to conform with the minimum Buildng and Site
Regulations that are generally applicable in the district where the
building is to be located, provided, however:
1. Ail accessory buildings shall be located only in the side or rear
yard at least twelve feet (12') from the principal building; and
2. Detached storage structures of any type construction not ex-
ceeding tO0 square feet in floor area and seven feet (?') in height
may be ere?ted to a point at least three feet (3') from the side
property line and/or at least three feet (3') from the rear property
line providing no easement rights are abridged."
Section 2: Authority to Codify: Specific authority is hereby granted to codi-
fy and incorporate this Ordinance in the City's existing Code.
Section 3: Separability: Each of the provisions of this Ordinance ts separable
including word, clause, phrase or sentence, and if any portion thereof shall he de-
clared invalid, the remaining portion shell not be affected but shall remain in full
force and effect.
Section 4: R~?ealing Provision:
