AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTIONS 6 (B)(2)(b) AND
6 (C)(6) AND ADDING SECTION 6 (B)(6) OF APPENDIX
A OF THE CO]DIFIED ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO
CLARIFY TITE CONDITIONS UNDER 'WHICH OIYTDOOR
DISPLAYS OF MERCHANDISE WILL BE PERMITTED
IN THE C-2 NEIGHBORHOOD, COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
AND C~3 COMMUNITY COM1V[ERCIAL DISTINCT; PRO-
VtDING FOR;AUT.HORITY TO CODIFY, SA~fINGS
CLAUSE, REPEALING PROVISIONS, AN EFFECTIVE
DATE ;iND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section l: That subparagraph (b) of Section 6 (B)(2) of Appendix A
of the Committed Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, is hereby
repealed in its entirety.
Section 2:' Thai Section 6 (B)(6) is hereby added to Appendix A of the
Codified Ordihances of lhe City of Boynton Beach, Florida, To read as
follows:
"6, Outdoor Displays of Merchandise. As set forth in Section
6 (C)(6) hereinafter."
Section 3: That Section 6 (C)(5) of Appendix A of the Cogified
Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, be and is hereby amended
~o read as follows:
"6. Outdoor Displays of merchandise wi[[ be allowed only
if completely contained within property lines and in no case
shah walkways be blocked, nor shah merchandise be dis-
played in such a manner as to create a hazard to the public.
Parking areas shall not be used for displays unless special
permission is granted by the Building Official, or in the ab-
sence of the Building Official, the Deputy Building Official.
Section 4: Authority to Coftify: Specific aulhority is hereby granted
to codify and incorporate this Ordinance in the City's existing Code.
Section 5: Separability: Each of the provisions of this Ordinance ar
separable, including word, clause, phrase or sentence, and if any portion
thereof shall be declaimed invalid, the remaining portion shall not be affected
but shah remain in full force and effect.

Section 6: Repealing Pr~ovisions: Al! Ordinances or parts of
Ordinances in conf[ici, herewilh are hereby2repeated.
Section 7: Effeclive Date: This Ordinance shah become effeclive in
the manner and at the time provided by [aw.
