UNINCORPORATED TRACT OF LAND LYING CONTIGUOUS
THERETO AND WITHIN PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA.

AUTHORITY TO CODIFY, SAVINGS CLAUSE, AN ~FFECT~E

WHEREAS, [he owner of the property more particularly described
hereinafter has heretofore petitioned [he City Counci~ of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, requesting the annexation of certain property lying adjacent
and contiguous to the territorial limits of said municipality and within the
same County to [he municipal territorial limits of said City; and
WI-tEREAS, [he City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida~
has determined that said petition bears the signatures of all owners of
property in the area to be annexed an.d that such property meets the criteria
of Section 17i. 043 Florida Statutes (1974) relative to the character of the
area to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, [he City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, ~lorida,
deems the annexation of said land to be beneficial to and in the best interests
of the said City and the owner of said land [hat said land be annexed and
included within the municipal territorial limits of said City; and
WHEREAS, all requirements of the Charter of the City of Boymton
Beach, Floi~ida, and of the laws of the State of ~orida, relative to voluntary
annexation of contiguous territory have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IX ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OS
THE CITY OF BO~I~]TON BEACH. FLORIDA:
Section 1: That the City Coun6il of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
hereby annexes the tract of land mo,re particularly described in the attached
Exhibit A, which is hereby made a parl hereof, to the municipal territorial
lira_its of the City of ]~oynton ]~ea~h, Florida.
Section 2: That the terrl~orlal'~ ' boundaries of the City of Bo3rnton
each, Florida, are hereby redefined so as to include the abo~e-described
property.
Seciion 3: _Repealing Provisions: All ordLnances or parts oflordinar~ces
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4: Authority Io Codify:,,,_Speci£ic authority is hereby granted
fy and incorporate this Ordinance in the City's existing Code.
Section 5: Separabili~ Should any section or provision o£ ibis
Ordinance or any por-tion hereof, be declared by a Court of competent
