As required by Ordinance number 001-07, the following procedures are to be followed: o A City Commissioner has, seven (7) days from the rendition of the Order to request the City Manager's Office to place the case on a City Commission Agenda for review. Meeting Minutes, Code Special Magistrate Hearings Boynton Beach, Florida December 16, 2015 Case No. 14-2026 Bank of New York Mellon Property Address: 2639 SW 7th Street Violation(s): CO CH10 SECT 10-51..5 INC Property in foreclosure must be registered. Repair roof. Permit required. Ms. Springer presented the case. Notice of violation was sent on August 27, 2014. It came .to the Code hearing on November 19, 2014; Mark Roderman, on behalf of Bank of New York Mellon appeared. Compliance date and fine set was December 19, 2014 or $200 a day. Case came into compliance on July 31, 2015, with 223 days of non- compliance at $200 a day for a total fine of $44,600 plus the administrative .cost of $634.12. The City was first contacted in August of 2015 for a lien reduction inspection, and the property had some violations that needed to be repaired: replace driveway, repair or replace all rotted wood, replace broken windows, repair'sprinkler system, sod yard, repair Florida room, repair the fence, and paint the house. The property was re- inspected on November 23, 2015 and was in total compliance for lien reduction. Bernadine Jones, property manager for the new owner Prodigy Capital, said they purchased the property in June of 2015. Ms. Jones stated they inherited the lien from the bank, that had it in compliance within 30 days. They purchased it for $155,000; she said she had all of her invoices for the nearly $51,000 renovations. The market value is in the low $200,OOOs. Ms. Springer presented photos of the renovated property. Decision Based on the testimony, Ms. Ellis reduced the ,lien to $2,000 plus the administrative cost of $634.12, Case No'. 05-2487 Jason E. Cut hedge on 6�h Avenue side. Remove horticultural debris. Ms. Springer presented the case. Notice of violation was. sent on October 13, 2005. It came before the Board on December 21, 2005; Jason Robinson appeared. Compliance date and fine set was June 20, 2006 or $25 a day. CAUSE came before the City of Boynton Beach Code Compliance Magistrate on the Respondent's application for lien reduction on December 16, 2015, pursuant to Chapter Two, Article Five of the City Code of Ordinances.
