BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CItY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Subsection t05.1[a) of Section 5-2
of Chapter 5 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, be and is hereby amended to rea~ as follows:
"105.1--APPLiCATION FOR PEP~IIT--~VHEN REQUIRED.
(a) Any owner, authorized agent,
who desires to construct, enlarge, or
demolish or change the occupancy of a
structure, or repair, resurface or ins
install air conditioning system, windo~

other heat producing apparatus or othez

appurtenances,
the installation of which is re~alated by this Code,
jalousies, storm stops, fences, walls, television
transmission antenna, masts and towers, radio antenna,
masts and towers having Vertical length in excess of
fifteen (15) feet, fuel flanks, pumps, bottled gas,
and related equipment, groins, docks, swimming or
wading pools, waterproofing and sand bl~sting, or
install~awnings, signs, paving, or caus~ any such
work to be done, shall first m~ke application to the
B~ildi~g Official and obtain hhe required permit
therefor. Such permit shall be requested in all
cases described without regard to cost of the work."
Section 2. Separability: Each of the provisions of
this Ordinance are separable, including word, c~ause, phrase
or sentence, and if any portion thereof shall be declared
invalid, the remaining portion shall no~ be affected but shall
remain in full force and effect.

Authority tc Codify: Specific~ authority
is hereby granted to codify and incorporate this Ordinance in
une City's existing Code.
Section 5. A~ EffectiVe Date: This Qrd~nance shall
become effective in the manner and at the time provided! in
'the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida.
