R01-252RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A TENTATIVE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2001, AiqD ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2002; DETERMINING AND FIXING THE AMOUNTS NECESSARY TO CARRY ON THE GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY FOR THE ENSUING YEAR; DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF APPLICABLE FUNDS ON HAND; ESTIMATING RECEIPTS FOR THE GENERAL FUND; VOTED DEBT SERVICE FUND; CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND; UTILITIES FUND; VEHICLE SERVICE FUND; SA/qITATION FUND, LOCAL OPTION GAS TAX ~UND; WA/%EHOUSE FI/ND; MASS TRANSIT FUND; SELF- INSUP~ANCE FL~D; GOLF COURSE FUND; COMMI3NITYU IMPROVEMENTS FUND; AiqD CEMETERY ~UND; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND~ AN EFFECTIVE DATE.r a/l WHEREAS, a nentative budget has been pep ed by the City Manager estimating expenditures and revenues of the City for the ensuing year, with detailed information,| including revenues to be derived from sources other than ad valorem levy, and she has made recommendations as to the amount necessary ~o be appropriated for the ensuing year; and WHEREAS, the City Commissmon has met and conszdered the recommendations, the suggested budgeu, and the proposed millage necessary to be levied to carry on the governmen~ of the city for the ensuing year; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF the City of gmnnmng October eby adopted and ereby made to 2ity of Boynton .ed the sum of THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the tentative budget ol Boynton Beach, Florida, for the fiscal year be 1, 2001, and ending September 30, 2002, is hez the appropriations se~ ouu therein are maintain and carry on the government of the Beach, Florida. There is hereby approprie $44,293,734.00 ~he General Fund for the payment of operatIng expenses and necessary capital outlays for the City Government pursuan5 co the ~erms of the above budget. Section 2. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of 31,124,961.00 to the interest and sinking fund for Lhe general debt service for the purpose of payin~ the interest, principal and reserve due on the general obli~ation bonds of mhe City not subjecm mo statutory exemptions and for redeeming such bonds as they mature. Section 3. That there ms hereby appropriate~ the sum of $30,263,926.00 to the Capital Improvement Fund for the payment of capital outlays pursuant to the terms of the ~bove budget. Section 4. That there ms hereby appropriated mhe sum of $6,433,260.00 to the Sanitation Fund for he payment of operating expenses and necessary capital outle Section 5~ That there is hereby appropriat, d the sum of $2,237,584.00 ~o ~he Golf Course Revenue Fund for operatmng expenses and necessary capital outlays. Section 6. That there is hereby appropriat~ $519,337.00 to the Boynton Reach Recreational for the purpose of paying Debt Service due on Recreational Bonds, the sum of $12,752.00 f~ of its Revenue Bond discounts, for a total o Dollars. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $3,814,734~00 to the Water and Sewer Utilit~ Fund for the purpose of paying debt service due on the Water and Sewer Revenue Bonds, the sum of $5~249,100.00 for renewal and replacement and amortization of its Revenue B~nd discounts, for a total of $28,800,478.00.~ Section 11. That there is hereby appropriated! the sum of S230,425.00 to the Warehouse Fund for the payment of operating expenses and necessary capital outla~s. Section 12.
