Motio~ was made by Councilman Summers, seconded by
Councilman Nylund that the Council go int~ Special
Session for the purpose of receiving Bids as per adver-
tised for Project No. 5754. Motion carried.
Mrs. Tereesa Padgett, City Clerk, opened and read the
following bids:
1. Halpi__n~ tn~_c~, Venice, Florida: Base bid: Items
1-23 - $94,380. No alternate bid. Number of days
to complete v~ork - 100 calendar days. Bid bond in
the amount of 5~ of gross sum.

Motion was made by Councilman Nylund and seconded by
Councilman Worrell that Bids be turned Over to the
Consulting Engineers for the purpose of tabulating
and making recommendations to the Council~ ~otion
carried.
Councilman Nylund made the motion that the Special
Session be ad3ourned. Councilman Worrell seconded
the motion. Unanimously carried.
