5 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
6 FLORIDA RATIFYING THE 2016 -2017 ANNUAL BUDGET
7 FOR THE BOYNTON BEACH COMMUNITY
8 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND PROVIDING AN
9 EFFECTIVE DATE.

11 WHEREAS, the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency was created
12 by Ordinance of the City Commission pursuant to Chapter 163, Florida Statutes. The
13 Redevelopment Agency has been designated a Florida Special District; and
14 WHEREAS, Florida Statutes 189.016 provides that the proposed budget of a
15 dependent special district, with the concurrence of the local governing authority, may be
16 budgeted separately; and
17 WHEREAS, a local governing authority may, in its discretion, review the budget or
18 tax levy of any special district located solely within its boundaries; and
19 WHEREAS, a final budget of the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment
20 Agency has been reviewed and considered by the City Commission for the ensuing year,
21 with detailed information, and the administrative staff of the City has made
22 recommendations as to the amount necessary to be appropriated for the ensuing year.
23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
24 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
25 Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
26 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption
27 hereof.
1 Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida hereby
2 ratifies the adoption of the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency's 2016 -2017
3 Annual Budget.
4 Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
