WHEREAS, Section 100.361 of the Flori!da Statutes provides
for procedures and grounds for municipal recall and further
provides for the repeal of all municipal charter provisions
which are contrary therete.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOSTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Sections 145 and 146 of Article VII of
the Municipal Charter of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida~
be and are hereby repealed.
Section 2. Authority to.. CodifF: Specific
authority is
hereby granted to codify and incorporate this Ordinance in
the City's existing Cod~.
~ection 3. Separabilitv: Each of the provisions of this
Ordinance are separable, including word, clause~ phrase or
sentence, and if any portion thereof shall be dec%ared invalid,
the remaining pD~tion shall not be affected but shall remain in
full force and effect.
Section 4. ReDealinq Provision: All ordinances ~r parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 5. An ~ffective Date: This Ordinance shall
become effective in the manner and at the time provided by law.
