AN APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ~DOPTING A BUDGET FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1~ 1975, AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1976.
¥~{EREAS, the City Charter of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, requires an appropriations ordinance be passed by the
City Council of said Municipality each year~ adopting a budget
showing revenue of the City fro~ all sources and the estimated
expenditures to the various purposes for the ensuing fiscal
year:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That the proposed budget for the ensuing
fiscal year previously prepared by the City Manager now on file
in the City Hall of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, be and
the same is hereby finalized and adopted for the fiscal year
of said Municipality beginning October 1, 1975, and ending
September 30, 1976, pursuant to and in compliance with the
provisions of Section 28 and Section 84 of the City Charter of
the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, said budget being made a
part hereof by reference.
Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$5,106,994 to the General Fund for the payment of operating
expenses and necessary capital outlay for the City government
pursuant to the terms of the above budget.
Section 3: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$7,200 to the Interest and Sinking Fund for general debt
service for the purpose of paying the interest, principal and
reserve due on the general obligation bonds of the City not
subject to statutory exemptions and for redeeming such bonds
as they mature.
Section 4: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$1,727,448 to the Water Utility Fund and Sewer Utility Fund
for operatin~ expenses and nacessary capital outlay for the
municipal water and sewer departments.
Section 5: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$447,307 to the Interest and Sinking Fund of the combined
municipal water and sewer departments for the general debt
service for the purpose :of paying interest due on the bonds of
said departments and for the transfer to General Fund of
$185,000 for a total of $632,307.
Section 6: That ~here is hereby appropriated the sum of
$30,800 to the Publicity and Advertising Fund for the payment
of operating expenses pursuant to the terms of the above budget.
S~ction' 7: That this Ordinance shall become effective
from and after its passage in accordance with the Charter of the
City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
