AMENDING SUBSECTION (3) (D) OF:~:SEC~IO~ 13-39 OF.~:~C~APTER
13 OF THE.~ CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY, INCREASING
THE CH3LRGE FOR DELIvERiNG GkRBAGE, TRASH, REFUSE AND
DEBRIS TO THE CITY DUMP; PROVIDING FOR AUTHORITY TO
CODIFY~ SAVINGS-CLAUSE, REPEALING PROVISIONS, AN
EFFECTIVE DATE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDkINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
SeCtion 1: That Subsection~ [3) (D)~ 0f~Sscti~n 13-3~ of
Chapter 13 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, be and is hereby amended to read as follows:
"D)
.( Responsibility of occupant.
(a) Furniture, appliances, toys, bicycles, cans,
automotive waste, crates, etc., shall not be
placed in street rightsrof-way, but shall be
disposed of by occupant. Residents of the
city will nou be charged for disposal of said
items at the city dump.
(b) All persons delivering garbage, trash, ~efuse,
~nd debris to the city dump sh~ll be charged
at the rate of $.75 per cubic yard, with a
minimum charge of $1.00 for each dumping,
except as provided for in this article.
Peirsons using the city dump as set out in
t~is section shall do so only after purchasing
tilckets for said purpose from the city."
Section 2~. Authority to Codify: Specific authority is
hereby granted to codify and incorporate this Ordinance in the
City's existing Code.
Section 3. Separability: Each of the provisions of
this Ordinance are separable, including word, clause, phrase or
sentence, and if any portion thereof shall be declared invalid,
the remaining portion shall not be affected but shall remain in
full force and effect.
Section 4. Repgaling Provisions: Ail ordinances or
parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 5. An Effective Date: This Ordinance shall
become effective in the manner and at the time provided in the
Charter and Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida.
