AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 62-9 OF SAID CITY BY GRANTING
CONDITIONAL USE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ADDITIONAL SABBATH
CLASSROOMS FOR THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH ON
LOTS 18 THROUGH 22, INCLUSIVE, GAYMAR ESTATES, RECORDED
IN PLAT BOOK 24, PAGE 1t0, PUBLIC RECORDS OF PALM BEACH
COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND ON A PORTION OF LOT 15, ACREAGE
SECTION 33, TOWNSHIP 45 SOUTH~ RANGE 43 EAST; PROVIDING
FOR SAVINGS CLAUSE, REPEALING~PROVISIONS, AN EFFECTIVE
DATE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the owner of the property more particularly
described hereinafter has heretofore filed an application wi~h
the City of Boyn%on Beach, Florida, requesting conditional use of
subject property for the construction of additional sabbath
classrooms for the Seventh-Day Adventist Church located thereon
and has filed plans appurtenant thereto with the Planning and
Zoning Board of said City, and the said Board has unanimously
recommended the granting of said conditional use application; and
?~EP~EAS, the City Council of the City of Boyn%on Beach,
Florida, after having conducted a properly advertised public
hearing relative the granting of subject application, deems it
in the best interest of th e public, and in accordance with the
general master plan of the City, that said conditional use be
permitted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That a conditional use for the construction of
additional sabbath classrooms for the Seventh-Day Adventist
Church on the following described property is hereby granted:
Lots 18 through 22, inclusive, Gaymar Estates,
Recorded in Plat Book 24, Page 110, Public Records
of Palm Beach County, Florida,
and
South 130 feet of North 335 feet of East 384.87
feet of West 574.87 feet of East 3/4 of Lot 15,
Acreage Section 33, Township 45 South, Range 43 East.
Subject property is to be completed in accordance with the plans
therefor now on file in the office of the City Building Official.
The official Zoning Map of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, shall be amended accordingly.
Section 2. Separability: Each of the provisions of this
Ordinance are separable, including word, clause, phrase, or
sentence, and if any portion hereof shall be declared invalid,
the remaining portion shall net be affected, but shall remain
in full force and effect.
Section 3. Repealing Provisions: All ordinances or parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. Effective Date: This Ordinance shall become
effective in the manner and at the time provided by law. First reading this . /~-~day of April, 1975.
