A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND DATA FLOW
SYSTEMS TO PROVIDE FOR REMOTE TELEMETRY
UNITS (RTU) FOR THE UTILITY DEPARTMENT;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on May 4, 1993, the City Commission approved a
five-year agreement with Data FlowSystems to provide Remote
Telemetry Units (RTU) for the Utility Department; and
W}{EREAS, the attached Contract was negotiated by Stanley
Consultants, Inc., on the City's behalf; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, upon recommendation of staff, has deemed it to
be in the best interests of'the citizens and residents of the
City of Boynton Beach, Florida to execute a Contract between
the City of Boynton Beach and Data Flow Systems;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute an Contract between the City of Boynton
Beach and Data Flow Systems to provide Remote Telemetry Units
(RTU) for the Utility Department, which will monitor and
provide control for well pumps, lift stations and other
equipment in the water and wastewater system.
Section 2. That this Resolution
effective immediately upon passage.
