3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
4 FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ADOPTED BUDGET FOR
5 THE PARK & REC FACILITY TRUST FUND FOR THE
6 FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2016, AND
7 ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2017; PROVIDING FOR
8 SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND AN EFFECTIVE
9 DATE.

11 WHEREAS, a final budget was approved by the City Commission on September 20,
12 2016, for the fiscal year 2016-2017; and
13 WHEREAS, the City Manager is recommending amend the amount necessary to be
14 appropriated for fiscal year 2016-2017 for the Park&Rec Facility Trust Fund.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
16 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
17 Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
18 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption
19 hereof.
20 Section 2. The City Commission of the Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby
21 amending the appropriated FY 2016-2017 budget for the Park & Rec Facility Trust Fund
22 from $209,020 to $231,020. A copy of such amendment is attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
23 and the appropriations set out therein for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2016 and
24 ending September 30, 2017, to maintain and carry on the government of the City of
25 Boynton Beach.
26 Section 3. That there is hereby appropriated revised amounts to the Park & Rec
27 Facility Trust Fund (see Exhibit A) pursuant to the terms of the budget.
28 Section 4. If any clause, section or other part of this Resolution shall be held by
29 any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, such unconstitutional
30 or invalid part shall be considered as eliminated and shall in no way affect the validity of the
31 remaining portions of this Resolution.
32 Section 5. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
33 repealed to the extent of such conflict.
34 Section 6. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
