Motion carried 4-0. B. Consider request from the City of Miami to sh~re cost of an appeal regardin~ Utility Rates: Discussion was had at this time. Vice Mayor Summers m~ved that the City Mann?er be authorized to send a letter to the City of Miami stating the reasons that we at this time~ be able to participate. Seconded by Mr Nylund. Motion carried 4-0. · LEGAL Consideration of Agreement with PaLm Beach County Boamd of Public Instruction for Installation of Water Line ITV Site. - The City Bttornev~ Mr. Fruda gave a brief discussion on this ~ , matter~ explaining th~ de,ails ~nvolved and was joined by the Mayor and Councilmen. Fire Chief~ Eugene Wright, sUggested that a copy of the plans of what we intend to do be forwarded to ~. Etlsbury of the Florida Rating Bureau in Jacksonville for approval before we go ahead with any furthe~ plans on this matter. Further disCussion was had on the above. Vice Mayor Summers moved we table this until the next Seconded by Mr. Collins. Motion carried 4-~,. meeting~ April 17 Mayor Michael suggested that the city enter into a contmac~ showing what the city will have to pay so we ~ould nor have an open end con- ~act~ and in the meantime get bids on both 6~? and 8~ lines. Application for Beer and W/ne License - 400 N.E. 2nd Ave.- Thompson A. Walker. Mrs. H. Crawford of 410 N.E. 2nd Avenue came forward and asked the City Council what protection the citizens would have and if the city would enforce ordinances. Discussion followed. Ronald Jones, AttOrney representing Thompson A. Walker~ advised that Mr. Walkem had operated the Lantana Canteen at the airport and re- quested that his application be approved by the council. Mr. Summers moved that the license be approved. Seconded by Mr. Collins. Motion carried 4-0. Mr. Summers stated that he would like tO point out that if there are any violations of city ordinances that they ~,~uld be enforced. E. Request use of Civic Center: April 20~ 1967~ Gold Coast Supervis6rs' Association. The Council agreed it would not be necessary to consider this at all since the rec~esthad been withdrawn. F. Presentation of check to Boynton Beach Junior High School Band. Mayor Michael presented a check for $150.00 from the city to Mr. Reniee ~anslng for the Boynton Beach Junior High School Band, L ' ~PPROVAL OF BILI~ 1, Chamber of Commerce $621.32 Mm. Nylund moved that we pay the bill of the Chambem of Commerce for the amount of $621.32.
