M~yor Madsen called the Special Meeting to order at 9:35 A.M. for
the p~rpose of awarding the contract on the removal of junk cars.
N~. Kain informed the Council that Jimmy Edwards submitted the low
bid but was attending High School and he would not be able to handle
the job exDediti~uS!y. He recommended the award be made to Bedford
Jones at the bid price of $9.00 per vehicle. ¥~. Boos moved that
the contract for one year be signed with T. Bedford Jones, South
Speed Shop, for the removal of Junk cars from the city. Motion
was seconded by ~Lr. Collins and unanimously carried.
Meeting adjourned at 9:~5 A.M. and Council went into a workshop
session to review the 196d-65 audit report with the Auditor, Mr~
Gerald HawkLus.
