The City t. ianager reported that the lots had been declared
a nuisance previously and the o%~ners notified to have them
filled. An inspection on Friday~ July 16th, revealed that they
had not been filled. He recommended that the City ~anager be
authorized to take the proper steps to have the properties filled
and assess the cost to the owners. Mr. Archie moved the City
~anager~s recommendation. ~r. Boos seconded. ~otion carried 4-0.
Demolition Progra~
At the recommendation of the City ~anager~ ~r. Boos moved
that the City Attorney be authorized to take the required legal
steps to obtain certification by the proper court of the nuisance
in order to complete the program of demolishing these buildings.
Mr. Banks seconded, Motion carried 4-0.

~r. Kain read Resolution 65-~qH formally authorizing execu-
tion of an agreement v~th the Florida East Coast Railway relative

of the railway from N. E. loth Avenue northward to serve pro~
potties between the railway and U. S. ~I. The license agreement
was attached to the resolution. Mr. Boos moved that the reso-
lution be adopted as read and the Mayor and City Clerk be auth-
orized to execute the agreement.' Mr, Banks seconded~ Motion
carried 4-0.
Be~arco Tractor & Implement Co. - Old Boynton Road.
A petition had been received approximately three months
previously requesting Council action to relieve the unsitely
nuisance existing on property on ~hich Mr. De~iarco operated a
Tractor & Implement business. Every effort had been made by
Council to bring about some improvement in'the condition,
Mr. Arcb-ie moved that the City Attorney be instructed to proceed
with whatever legal course necessary to clean up the DeMaroo
property. Mr. Boos seconded. Motion carried 4-0~

The Public Hearing was called on the following request for
a change in zoning:

Address~ 405 $o W. 15th Ave.
Owner: J.T. and Virginia ~oolbright
The Planning & Zoning Board had heard this request on
June 17th at which time they had recommended denial of ~he appli-
cation by a vote of 3-1.
Er. Robert Griffith~ attorney representing the o~merst
spoke to the Council with respect to their favoring the request
of Mr. and ~rs. ~oolbright. He stated that the Planning & Zon-
ing Board had not been a full Board on the night when the appli-
cation had come before them~ He further presented the Council
with a letter, later read into the record~ from the Phillips
Petroleum Company assuring interested persons that they did not
intend doing any work~ including grading~ until the inter-change
for 1-95 was under constr~ction. Er. Hobert Lumas, Pompano Beach~
Florida~ real estate representative in regards to the sales tran.,
action between the ~oolbrights and Phillips Petroleum Company,
stated ~hat in his experience with the sale of other properties
around inter-changes~ that the inter-change ~ould be 450e in width
which wou:ld take all the land of Mr. George ~elly~ the only
objector to the zoning changer and part of the Woolbri~ht pro-
perty.
I, ffr. George Kelly~ owner of property immediately west of
the ~oolbright piece~ spoke to the Council and requested that the
matter be postponed until his attorney returned from his vacation.
~r. Boos moved that ~he public hearing be continued until the
next regular meeting~ in order to allow Mr~ Kelly's attorney to
be heard. Mr. Banks seconded. Motion carried 4-0.

PrOposed Ordinance 65-30 which affected recommendations made
by the ~lanning and Zoning Board, through the City Nanager~ to
the off~street parking ~equirements as contained in Ordinance 62--9,
Hr. ~4oore read the ordinance. There were no objections to it at
this meeting. Mr. Banks moved that the Ordinance be passed'from
