Earl DOWney, First Presbyterian Church gave the Invocation, followed by Pledge
of ~legiance to the Flag led by Councilman ~ahoney.
~ayor ~rchie announc sd ~t Vice ~ayor ~a~s had been in the hospital
but is ho~e now recovering nicely.
~r. ~adsen ~oved that the ~nutes of September 9th ~eeting be approved
as written, seconded by ~r. ~aAoney and ~o/ion carried 3-0. ~r. Sub,ers
abstained inasmuch as he was ~t p~esent at the ~eeting.

by ~u S~yn for Sierra ~eights S/D upon Planning Board's reco~en~tion for
extension of tAe sewer line and that developer put in One street light, ~otion
~econded by ~r. Sub,ers ~d u~i~ously carried.
~rs. ~illia~ Derbyshire reqaested the DDuBle Bridge Club be Permitted

permitted to hold their rneetings till 1Z:00 midnight for the next t~vo weeks ~nasmuch
as they have letters .out advertising these conning events. The request was granted.
iV~r. I-larry Leforte made inquiry in regard to itemns in the new budget
regarding the swimnmning pool bond issae, the ir~comne from cigarette tax anticipated
for the fiscal year and income ~romn fines. These q~zestions wer~ answered.

The City.~torney read by captiiza only Ordinance 63-28 prohibiting certain
conduct regarding election campaigns.
Mr. Ma/~oney moved the adoption of Ordinance 63-28 on second and final
reading. Motion seconded by Mr..Madsen and Unanimously carried.
The City ~kttorney read l{esolution 63-LL re paving SV~ 4th between
Ocean and s~Ar 1st-~kvenu~.
Mr. Sumnmners moved the adoption of l{esolution 63-LL seconded by
/V~r. i~Iadsen and Unanimously carried.
The City 3ktorney read l{esolution 63-~ re estirna~ed cost covering
construction .of that portion of SW 4th Street between Ocean Avenue and S~Ar 1st

Mr. Madsen moved the l~esolution 63-M/vi be adopted: seconded by IV~r.
1Viahoney and unanimously carried.
-' - lvlr. Mahoney moved the proposed ag=eemnent between Ocean Ridge and
Boynton Beach be signed by Mayor and City Clerk authorizing fire protection.
Motion seconded by 1Vir. Madsen and unanimously carried.

iV~r. Mahone~v moved that change order No. 1 in the amount of $10,670.50
be approved and signed by Mayor andCity Clerk covering muck area in system ~/2
under contract to Southern Gulf Utilities Corporation. Motion seconded by
tV£r. Sumnmners and unanimnously carried.
/vfr. Madsen mnoved the Departmental l~eports be approved except
the Public Works t{eport: seconded by Air. Sumnrners and unanimnously carried.
