16 , ( invoiced by the Finance Department in an effort to recoup these costs with no response: and

18 I WHEREAS, said nuisance was not abated as required; and,

20 WHEREAS, all of the property owners listed in the attached Exhibit "A" were sent
21 letters offering them an opportunity to remit within 30 days in order to avoid incurring a lien
22 on their property; and

25 i j costs actually incurred by the City and abatement of said nuisance as to the property(s)
26 involved, which is described in Exhibit"A"attached to this Resolution; and

29 ;1 with a copy of this Resolution, and given one more opportunity to remit all costs associated

with the abatement in full within 30 days of the passage of the Resolution, before transmittal

Subject amount is hereby assessed as liens against said parcels of land as
indicated, plus an additional administrative charge of $30.00 for each Lien.
Liens shall be of equal dignity with the taxes there from for the year 2018, and
shall be enforced and collected in like manner pursuant to applicable
provisions of law. In the event collection proceedings are necessary, the
property owner shall pay all costs of the proceedings, including reasonable
attorneys fees.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
