A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
EXPRESSING SUPPORT AND/OR OPPOSITIO~ TO
SEVERAL PROPOSED BILLS BEING CONSIDERED
FOR ENACTMENT BY THE FLORIDA LEGISLATURE
DURING THE 1993 SESSION; A-ND PROVIDING ~N
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Florida Legislature officials convened on
February 2, 1993 and will adjourn 60 days later, and
WHEREAS, the Florida Legislature is considering numerous
bills for enactment during this 1993 Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, several of these bills presently under
consideration are deemed to be advantageous to the local
governments, while others are deemed to be not advantageous.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
Section I. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, does hereby express is support for the following
listed bills since they have been determined to either (i)
provide funding/increased revenues to the Cities; (2) increase
flexibility to the Cities; and/or (3) remove inconsistencies,
clarify language and provide greater understanding to the
public.

financing; (4) place unreasonable financial burdens on local
governments; and/or place/impose adverse impacts on local
