R93-48RESOLUTION NOo R93-~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A LOCAL GOVERNMENT STATEMENT TO BE FORWARDED THROUGH PALM BEACH COUNTY H.U.D. TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT; A COPY OF SAID STATEMENT BEING ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on June 12, 1992, the Palm Beach County Housing Authority submitted an application to the U.S. Department of Housing aid Urban Development for funding improvements and modernization of its public housing units; and WHEREAS, this procedure requires that at the time of each subsequent annual submission by H.U.D., those governments which represent the areas where improuements and modernization are to occur will provide a local government statement; NQ~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF'BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT: Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and d~rected to execute a Local Government Statement to be forwarded through Palm Beach County H.U.D. to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which statement is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
