A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
STAFF TO APPLY FOR. THE CHILDREN SERVICES COUNCIL
GRANT (JUVENILE FIRST OFFENDER PROGRAM) FOR THE
1993-94 FISCAL YEAR; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS~ the Childrens Services Council has announced the
availability of grant funds for the fiscal year 1993-94; and
~EREAM~ the Juvenile First Offender Program's main goal is
to reduce th~ number of juvenile repeat offenders from the City of
Boynton Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission supports the proposed program
and is desirous of obtaining grant funding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED ~Y THE CiTY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ~OYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT.
Section 1. The City Commission hereby authorizes and
directs staff to apply for the Children Services Council Grant
(Juvenfle First Offender Program) for the 1993-94 fiscal year.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
