R93-~7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE ADDENDUM $5 TO THE CONTRACT WITH STANLEY CONSULTANT, INC., (SCI) FOR THE WEST WATER TREATMENT PLANT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on March 5, 1991, Stanley Consultant, Inc., (SCI) was authorized to perform construction management services for the West Water Treatment Plant~ which contract expires May 3, 1993; and WHEREAS, the two construction contracts for this facility have been extended by the City Commission, Contract I with L.A. ~Water Company for the process equipment extended to August 2, 1993, and Contract II with the Poole & Kent Company for the general facility, extended to August 11, 1993; and ~REAS, SCI has proposed extending their contract by 334 calendar days, to April t2~ 1994, which will provide for full const~UCti6~ ~anagement for a minimum of three (3) additional months amd provide for advanced training. NOW~THEREF~RE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOyNToN BEACH, FLORIDA THAT: Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach.. Florida, does hereby authorize and direct the Mayor and City Clerk to execute Addendum $5 to the Stanley Consultant, Inc., contract. Section 2. Per diem expenses will be paid in accordance with City of Boynton Beach policy. Compensation for these services shall be earned as services are rendered and as related reimbursable expenses are incurred, and shall be separately calculated and billed on the CM's monthly statements. Compensation for these services is not to exceed $218,000. 1.2 ComDensation for Additional Services The City shall pay CM for Additional Services not otherwise provided for in this AGREEMENT through a negotiated fee or on the basis of the CM's then curren~ hourly fees in effect at the time service is provided plus reimbursable expenses. Per diem expenses will be paid in accordance with City of Boynton Beach policy. Compensation for additional services shall be earned as additional services are rendered and as related reimbursable expenses are incurred, and shall be separately calculated and billed on the CM's monthly statements.
