qualified. The TAZ BOTS repeated as South Florida Champions and will travel to Houston,
Texas for the FIRST Lego League World Invitationa: The Powerful Pandas, a rookie team,
received an invitation to attend the Razorback Invitational hosted by University of Arkansas.

Both teams will compete against teams from around the world--the TAZ BOTS will have the
opportunity to re-connect with teams they met last year. During the current season, we have
skyped with teams from the Netherlands, Norway and teams from the United States. FIRST
lego league is more than just robots—it'slearning skills to help students succeed in STEM
careers:

Immediate need is funding for registration, travel and housing.

Two teams combined for a total of 13 students--2 females and 12 males. Six students are
- on free lunch program and will benefit from scholarship funds.

We are having school-wide events: Read-A-Thon, Domino's Slice The Price Cards, Movie
night, Skate night.
This form must be submitted in a timely manner,preferably at least 30 days prior tothe project/event for
which the funds are requested.. Only applications completed intheir entirety will be accepted.
Within 60 days of receipt of funds, the recipient agrees to demonstrate to the Board that the funds were
used for the stated purpose. Failure to do so may result in,ineligibility for future donations.
