Education: Chico State University—BA in Business Administration
Occupation: Real Estate Broker and Property manager in Oakland, CA
Activities:
President of a faith based organization representing over 25,000 people, working with
City, County and State Government on Oakland problems including downtown
redevelopment(Especially the Jack London Square area on an estuary very similar to our
Intracoastal). We worked on housing, and the commercial/residential mix issues,
besides being involved in community safety issues and education issues. We worked
regularly with the Mayor(Jerry Brown), Commissioners and School Board.
As a property manager, I worked with builders and community leaders interested in
investing in Oakland.
I moved to Delray Beach three years ago, and worked with the Commissioners and
Chamber of Commerce on a variety of issues.
Now that I live in Boynton Beach, I would like to put the same energy into the CRA
working to help build a downtown where visitors and residence will want to come to
experience interesting shops, restaurants, exhibits, and other attractions that we could
offer. The possibilities are exciting.
