A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, ADOPTING A PROPOSED MUNICIPAL
MILLAGE RATE FOR GENERAL OPERATING
BUDGET PURPOSES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2018-2019,
STATING A ROLLED-BACK RATE, AND SETTING
FORTH THE DATE, TIME AND PLACE OF THE FIRST
PUBLIC HEARING; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE

1 WHEREAS, pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065(2)(b) it is the responsibility of the
14 Municipality's governing body to advise the Property Appraiser of its, proposed millage rate,
1 ' rolled- back millage rate, and the date, time and place of the first public hearing at which the
1 proposed millage rate and tentative budget will be considered.
1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
1: THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
1• Section 1. The above referenced whereas clauses are incorporated herein by
21 reference.
2 Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby
24 sets a proposed millage rate of 7.9000 which has been computed to fund the General
2 Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2018-19. The rolled-back rate is 7.4863.
2A Section 3. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby
2' sets September 6, 2018 at 6:30 P.M., at Intercoastal Park Clubhouse, 2240 North Federal
2: Highway, Boynton Beach, Florida, as the date, time and place of the first public hearing to
2 consider the proposed millage rate and the tentative budget.
2: Section 4. The City Manager of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, is hereby
2• authorized to execute and submit DR-420 Certification of Taxable Value to the Palm Beach

31 County Property Appraiser's Office.
3 Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage
3. and adoption.
