In order to clarify the minutes to da~e; it was authorized
sometime agoto purchase approximately 9 acres of'la~d from
A.V.Peterson, City Clerk, for the amount of $ 600.00. A p~rt ~
of ~he property to be used as a City dump and the balance as '
a colored ceme~zTy. The City in turn sold Mr. Peterson 280 ft.
of ground fronting on Green St. at Ocean Ave'. running south,
at the then current market price of $ ~.00 per front foot or
$ '780.00 Mr. Peterson to pay the difference or $280.00 to City.
