This wa~ withheld by the Commission pending further investigation, A letter was received from the Chamber of Commerce in reference to the placing of signs at the Boynton Beach Casino. Such letter was discussed imf u l! but no action was taken. An "Acceptance Of Electric Franchise Ordinance ~o. 199 by Florida Power & Light Company" was received and signed by De~utyCity Clerk on the 2%th day of April, 19~7 and the City seal was affixed. V. Peterson regardlng~im~rep~¢p~Rmch have come to light since and during the audit. The Commission ruled that in that letter Mr. Peterson will be given l0 days to clear up.the matters in question and if not~ the situation will be presented to Mr. Roebuck~ the County Solicitor~ for further action. Colored Town was the next topic of the meeting with the res~3~t that the Commission ruled that something must be done immediately to improve the unsanitary conditions. It was decided that a letter be written to Messrs. A. Wacksm~n: Dr. N. M. Weems, and J. J. Williams instructing that immediate action be taken to install sanitary toilet facilities in RES OLL~TION Upon motion by Commissioner Tatt~rsall and seconded by Commissioner Benson th~ following resolution was duly ~passs~ ~nd adoDted: Authorizing the ~ayor and the City Clerk of and on behalf of the Ci~ of Boynton Beach to ~ke application to the Co~issione~s of Palm ~ach Co~ fom duplicate certificates in lieu of the originals described and for the fol!ow~g Pa~t T~ ~le Certificate No. 1~885 dated the ~tn~y of Ju~ 192V ~tne sum 0f aisc Par~ T~ Sale ~e~if~cate No. ~289~ dated the 7th day of Au~st~ !95~ in the sum of $5.~V covering the followi~ proper~ to wit: Lot 9, Blo0k 5~ Bowers Park Section BS~ Township 45, 1o That said Part Tax Sale Certificates were pure.based by the City of Boynton Beach. B. That said Part Tax Sale Certificates, or any interest therein have not been hypothecated, sold, assigned, transferred or delivered by the City of BoyntonBeach and have received no consideration therefor. 3. That said Part Tax Sale Certificates have been lost or destroyed and t'b~t we ha?e mad~ diligent search and are unable to locate said certificates. 4. Tibet if duplicate Certificates are issued in lieu thereof and the originals should at any time be located, the same will be surrendered to Clerk of the Cimcuit Court of Palm Beach County for canoeilation. 5. The Commission passed and adopted the following resolution requesting the Clerk of the Circuit Court to issue duplicat~ part tax sale certificates No'si 1368~ and $~289 which could not be lo,md, and which had been requested for redemption by the Clerk of the Circuit Court.
