M. Thes~ present were F.L. Puriton, ~yor B. V. Tattersall~ Vice-~ayor Clarence Benson, Clerk being all of the Commissioners. The meeting was called to order by ~he M~yor. Minutes of the last re~iar meeting of June ~ !94~ and Special meetings of June 11, 194V, June 20~ 194V and June 24, t94V w~re ~ead and approved. E, Hewi~t for ~ Beer 0nly license was held in abeyance ~ti! the ordinance on Sale of Liquors ~s been revised. Lots in the new cemetmry mre to be sold at $18.00 per lot~ and the ~puty Clerk w~s given instru~ions to issue deeds for 'the s~e and keep m record of all lots sold. A petition ceve~ing suggestions in re.rd to the future issuance of Beer & Win~ticenses was re~. It ~was ~led t~t City 0rdin~ces cov- ered this petition. A petition was read mskm~ t~t property at the easterly end of Oak St. be ~eserved for residence purposes only. As~this p~operty zoned residential, no action was deemed necessary. A lette~ was ~ead from the County Co~issioners concerning rules and regulations cever~g Bars and thei~ ~urs of operation. No action was taken on t~$ letter. A request was received fr~ton Palivoda to p~rk a trailer 513 Pa~etto St., until he eventually builds a house, no time limit specified. The CoEissioners ~led t~t no additio~l trailers will be allowed in ~ton Beach~ as mo~ng ordi~noes pro.bits them. There being no ~rther business, the meetinE~s deviated ~djou~ed the Mayor.
