The City Council convened at a Special Meeting
at the City Hall, at V:30 P.M., March 8~ 1949.
Councilmen present:
Mro F. L. Purinton, Mayor
Mr. A~ E~ Shook
Mr. Ralph Ross
~ro ~. T. Woolbright
Mro G. H. Hood
The meeting was called to orde~ by Mayor Purinton.
Mayor Purinton stated that the Special Meeting was
called for the purpose of xev~ewing Administrative
expe~se~
After short discussion, Mayor Purinton recommended
that the
C~ty dispense with ~irso Somerville's services
Mr. Woolbri~ht made a motion that ~s. Somerville
~ O
be dismissed as of this date and given ~w weeks severence
pay. Motion seconded by M~. Hood and unaminously carried°
A petition relative ~o appointment of Fire Chief
was presented ~ud tabled until next regular meet faago
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned°
