The City CoUncil convened at a regular meeting at the City Hall, at 7:30 P.M., July 5th., 1949. Councilmen present ~ro F. L. Purinton, Mayor ~r. A. E. Shook ~.ro Co H. Hood Mr. We T. Woolbright Mr. Ralph Ross The meeting w~s called to order by Mayor Minutes of the regular meeting of J~me 9t~., 1949, were read. Motion made by Mr. Ross, seoonded b~ ~ro Hood and unsminously c~ried that minutes be adopted aS read. Motion made by Mr. Hood, seconded by ~. Ross mud ~mminousiy c arrmed that a Beer License be zssued to ~. Barkley to sell Beer to take out only ~ his grocery. Motion made by Mr. Hood, seconded by ~. Ross that Mr. Otto Lo~oardo be issued a Beer License to sell beer to take out only. This grocery located ~ the Hill Build- lng on Lake Avenue. The votes were as follows: ~. F. L. l~arinton ~'Ayew ~.
