Motion was made by Mr. Woolbright seconded by Mr. Ross and unamiously carried that Chase National Bank be fowarded the check $5,308.50 reoresenting 1~% interest on $707,800. RefUnded Bonds due October ist. Discussion was held on advisability of changing fiscal year from November 1st to January 1st. Motion was made by Mr. Woolbright seconded by Mr. Hood and un~miously carried that Delray Motors bid for new Ford car forPolice Department be accepted for sum of $600. and 19~7 Pontiac two door sedan as per specifications. Motion was made by Mr. Ross and seconded by Mr. Woolbright and unamiously carried that Mayor Purinton and City Clerk be authorized to open safe deposit box at Atlantic Bank to determine contents and report back at nekt regular meeting. Chief Carver and Mr. Hood were instructed to obtain'information on police car radios. Mrs. J.L. McNames appeared on behalf of the Business and Professional Women's Club asking the city to replace the bicycle rack at the Post Office, and that children riding bicycles be re- quired to observe traffic laws. Chief Carver was instructed to appear before the school children to acquaint the$ with traffic laws and ~ee that they are observed. Letter of acceptance as City's Attorney's from law firm of Winters Foskett Cook & Tylander. Motion was made by Mr. Hood seconded by Mr. Ross and unamiously carried that Budget 0rdinance#211 be adopted: ORDINANCE NO. 211 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH~ PALM BE~CH COUNTY~ FLORIDA, PROVIDING A BUDGET~ SETTING FORTH THE ITEMS OF GENERAL E~ENSE Ah~ OF INTEREST REQUIREMENTS UPON THE INDEBTEDNESS OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH~ PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA~ AND FIXING A TAX RATE OR MAKING A TAX RATE LEVY FOR GENERAL EXPENSE AND INTERESTREQUIREMENTSUPONTHE INDEBTFDNESS OF THE CITY GF BOYNTON BEACR~ FLORIDA~ FOR THE FISCAL ~AR BEGINNING NOVEMBF~ 1, 19~9 AND ENDING OCTOB~R 31, 19~0.
