The City Council convened at a special meeting at the City
Hall at 7:30 P.M., October lOth~ 1959
Councilmen Present:
Mr. F.L. Purinton, Mayor
Mr. C. H. Hood
Mr. A. E. Shook
Mr. Ralph Ross
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Purinton who stated
the purpose of the meeting was to discuss city affairs with
Business and Professional Woman's Club.
Motion was made by Mr. Ross, seconded by Mr. Hood and unamiously

The following topics were discussed:
Mr. Pitchford's building permit.
Advisability of clearing off lots that
are hazardous due to snakes.
Repatching holes in streets.
Mayor Purinton read a report from Water Suoerintendent Mr.
Raulerson on work their department has recently accomplished. It
was suggested this information be published in the local oaper
so citizens will know about it. -
Mr. Frar~ DeRice was introduced and gave an interesting talk
regard to the oalm tree which was shipped to him in Montreal.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
