Mr. Purinton requested water~t his Yacht Basin. A letter from Town of Riviera Beach was read issuing an invitatio_u to dedication of Riviera Beach Memorial Bridge Armistice Day November llth. Motion was made by Mr. Ross seconded by Mr. Hood and unamiously carried to authorize check for The Chase National Bank in amount of $1160.00 representing interest charges on Water Revenue Certificates. First reading of Ordinance #213 was passed on motion made by A-.E. Shook seconded b~ W.T. Woolbright and unamiously carried. Mr. Woolbright was authorized to have an electrician hook up new siren at Fire House. Mayor F.L. Purinton issued a proclamation declaring Saturday November 19th aa "Kids Day" in the City of Boynton Beach. He calls on all citizens to support the objectives of this day and to cooperate to best of their abilities in making, the event a success. Motion was made by Mr. Hood seconded by Mr. Ross and unamiously carried to place a $~.00 add in Boynton Beach News supporting "Kids Day." Motion was made by Mr. Hood seconded by Mr. Woolbright and unamiously carried to adoot the following resolutionm~ RESOLUTION Upon motion made by Councilman , Ralph Ross and seconded by Councilman ~, the following resolution was duly passed and adc~0ted. A copy of above ordinance is to be mailed to Rathbun Hauling Co. Motion was made by Mr. Ross seconded by Mr. Hood and unamiously carried to increase John Bell's salary $10.OOoer week to take' effect i~mediately. A letter is to be written ~o Mr. S.~. ~dams Sr. in reference to his application for t~e position of Building Insoector stating under the City Charter no member of the immediate family of any councilman can hold s paid position~ Motion was made by Mr. Hood seconded by Mr. ~ and unamiously carried to authorize the City Attorney to ask for a court judgment on whether Henry Merkel is eligible to become a city councilman. Instruct City Attorney to asertain if 60' right-of-way for continuation of Lake Street from Federal Highway east to inter- coastal canal is filed in County records. A letter is to be written to Zoning Board regarding numbering all houses in City of Boynton Beach.
