ON THE 5TH DAY OF MAY~ 1950.
At a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida~ held on the 5th day of May~ 1950, at the hour of 7:30
P.M. of such day~ such meeting being held oursuant to the waiver of
notice and consent to the holding of such ~eeting attached to these
minutes;

Mr. F.L. Purinton~ Mayor~ presided and stated the purpose of such
meeting to be to comnile and incorporate the recommendations of the
Zoning Board to date'into an emergency ordinance.
Mr. Griffith, City Attorney, read the drafted ordinance.
ORDINANCE #220
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH~
AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 205 OF SAID CITY;
REPEALING AL~ ORDINANCES OR P~TS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT ~'ITH SUCH ORDINANCE; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY-
The Council discussed Moseley Investment Co. plans that they had
notice of at the time the present building was built that they intend to
build a filling station on front hart of property and had sanction of
Council at that time.
Permit will be allowed for Moseley to go ahead with his plans that
were in progress at the time the present building was built. Notice of
their plans it is felt would greatly prejudice them unless the permit
is issued. This action also applies to Lot 25 of Dewey's S/D such
being the N. E. corner of intersection of Lake Avenue and Federal High-
way. All in accord.
Mr. province made the motion that Ordinance ~220 be adopted as
read. Mr. Hood seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH~ FLORIDA, TO
BE HELD ON THE ~TH DAY OF MAY, 1950, AT THE
HOUR OF 7:30 O'CLOCK P.M. OF SUCH DAY.
The undersigned, A. E. Shook as Commissioner; and
C.H. Hood as Com~nissioner; and C. C. Province as Commissioner;
and Henry Merkel Jr. as Commissioner, being all of the members of the
City ~ommission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, at present
within the limits of the State of Florida, do separately and
severally waive any and all notices required by the ordinance of
and/or the City Charter of, the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
and/or the laws of the Sta~e of Florida, of a Special Meeting of
the City Commissioners of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, to
be held on ths 5th day of May, 19~0~ at the hour of 7:30 O'clock
P.M. of such day; and do consent to the holding of such meeting
at such time, for the purpose of compiling and incorporating the
recommendations of the Zoning Board to date into an emergency
ordinance, and taking such action thereon as they shall deem
necessary, proper or expedient; and for the transaction of such
other and further business as may properly come before such
