A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
SUPPORTING FURTHER STUDY REGARDING
RELOCATION OF THE COASTAL CONSTRUCTION
CONTROL LINE; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO
FORWARD A COPY OF THIS RESOLUTION TO THE
APPROPRIATE STATE AND LOCAL AGENCIES.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida has been advised that discussion has been taking place
regarding relocation of the Coastal Construction Control Line; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the City of Boynton Beach's tax base
may be impacted if the current model is accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CiTY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
Section-1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach hereby joins the coastal co~unities in supporting further
study regarding relocation of the Coastal Construction Line.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward a
copy of this Resolution upon passage to the appropriate State and
local agencies.
