4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
5 FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
6 CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A
7 PARTIAL RELEASE OF LIEN AS IT RELATES ONLY
8 TO UNIT 606, BUILDING 17 OF PELICAN POINT AT
9 BOYNTON BEACH, A CONDOMINIUM; AND
10 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

13 WHEREAS, the City owns and holds a Claim of Lien dated May 7, 2015 which was
14 recorded May 13, 2015 in OR Book 27531, Page 0314 in the public records of Palm Beach
15 County and; and
16 WHEREAS,the lien secures the City's entitlement to unpaid water,sewer,storm water
17 and garbage charges incurred at the Pelican Point Condominiums; and
18 WHEREAS, the lien encumbers all condominium property and units; and
19 WHEREAS,the current owner of Condominium Unit 606, Building 17 desires to unit
20 and requested a partial Release of Lien for Unit 606, Building 17; and
21 WHEREAS,.the City Administration is amenable to recommends the partial release.
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
23 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,THAT:
24 Section 1. The foregoing Whereas clauses are true and correct and are now ratified and
25 confirmed by the City Commission.
26 Section 2. The City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
27 execute a Partial Release of Lien for Unit 606, Building 17. The Partial Release attached as
28 Exhibit "A" would accomplish the release for Unit 606, Building 17, while preserving the
29 City's lien on all other Pelican Point Condominium property encumbered by the City lien.
30 Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
