Upon motion made by Co--miss!crier Weems, seconded by Commissioner Stevens and unanimously carried, it was decided $o place nine mo~e streets lights in operation. Nay~ Stevens reported that he had susper~/ed Gee Fol~t as of November 1st for d~uuke~ess and had employed John A~d~ews temporarily subject to the action of the Commission. After sem~ discussion, Commissioner Weems made a me, ion that John Andrews be employed ~e~la~ly on the Sanitary t~ck, which motion was seconded by Commissioner Bowen and ~uanimously c~ried. M~. F. B. Jenes was assu~ed th~ an effort womld be made to clean up the stPeet ~i~ht-of-ways en Gr~em Street, nea~ t~e Came~e~ A~a~tments. The~e being no fu~he~ business the meeting adjeu~ned.
